81-85 Tisdale 40B

An application for a 42-unit rental apartment building with a minimum of 11 affordable units on the 5.1 acres site currently occupied by single-family homes at  #81 and #85 Tisdale Drive was submitted by the applicant, Paul McGovern, to MassHousing in 2023 under M.G.L. Ch. 40B. Dover received a request for input from MassHousing on 8/25/23 and after receiving input from all appropriate Town departments, staff, boards and committees, a response letter was sent to the state on 10/27/23. On 2/5/24 MassHousing’s Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency issued a Project Eligibility Letter (PEL) approving the project despite Dover’s concerns. Dover’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) has responsibility for processing the Comprehensive Permit application.
