Payments to the Towns Bank

The Town offers an online banking service though UNIBANKYou will choose the type of payment being made (Real Estate, Personal Property, and Excise Taxes). Payments can be made using your current bill number and the tax year you are trying to pay.

Overdue Bills

This online banking service is updated periodically and may not reflect recent payments. For the most accurate information on past due balances contact the office at the number on the right. If the bill is available you may make a payment online.

One-Time Payments

You have a choice to set up an account to save your banking and/or your credit card information or you can make a one-time payment without saving your information.

Fees

There is a fee of $0.25 to make a payment online with your checking account (ACH). There are additional fees for you to use a credit card. UNIBANK will send you a confirmation email after the transaction is complete.

Payments from Your Personal Online Banking Service

You may use your personal online banking service to pay tax bills. These payments do not come with a copy of your bill so we ask that you provide your Parcel ID Number in the memo section of the payment. Your Parcel ID Number will never change, unlike your bill number which may change twice a year depending on sales in the town.

Late Payments

When you make a payment in this way the bank will cut a paper check and mail it to the Town. This can lead to a delay in the payment getting to the office and could result in interest and penalties being applied to your bill.

Please leave adequate time to allow these payments to reach our office. Postmarked dates are not accepted.
