Please review the graphic carefully, as field status varies by location at both Chickering and Caryl Field.

Current Status (as of this afternoon):

• Green: Field is open and can be used as normal.

• Blue: Field is open with caution. Coaches and officials must check conditions before practice. If any of the following exist, practices must be modified to avoid those areas or canceled if modification isn’t possible:

  • Standing water is visible

  • Water can be seen or heard underfoot while walking

  • Footprints leave impressions on the surface

• Red: Field is closed for the day.

For any questions regarding your specific team practice or game schedule, you will need to contact your coach or league officials.

All Dover Parks & Recreation Department field decisions are FINAL and WILL STAND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, with updates being posted whenever necessary, but typically on weekdays between 12:00 - 1:00pm.
