The Massachusetts Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary has declared a Level 3 - Critical Drought for all of Massachusetts, with the exception of the Cape and Islands. Under this classification, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) recommends prohibiting all non-essential outdoor water use, including irrigation.
Due to the drought conditions in Dover, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) recommends implementing water conservation measures. Based on the status of local monitoring wells, Dover is currently classified as being in Level 3 - Critical Drought.
As a result, all non-essential outdoor water use, including irrigation, is prohibited.
