Inclement Weather, Make-Up Classes & Reimbursement Policy
In the event of a program session or game cancellation, a decision will be made as early as possible in order to best notify all participants, parents and staff.
Dover Parks & Recreation will make every attempt to reschedule a class that has been cancelled due to inclement weather, instructor illness, unforeseen circumstances, etc. and typically an additional week will be added to the end of the program.
If a class has been cancelled due to inclement weather, instructor illness, unforeseen circumstances, etc. and Dover Parks & Recreation is not able to offer a make-up option, participants will then be offered a Town issued refund or department credit in the amount of the program class(es) lost.
Please note: Dover Parks & Recreation is not responsible for classes missed due to a participant’s inability to attend.
