The Fair has been an annual event for approximately twenty-nine years and functions as a fundraiser for many Dover organizations. It's a wonderful opportunity for Dover organizations to interact with the community. New this year, Dover Days Fair will be open to outside Arts & Crafts Vendors. All outside vendors must be pre-approved by Dover Parks & Recreation to assure quality attractions and prevent competition among groups. Registration forms to host a booth are available on this web site, please scroll to the bottom of the page.

The Fair features rides, games and activities such as moonwalk, pony rides, monkey walk, hayride, T-shirt coloring, dice game, duck pond, space shot, and Velcro tic-tack-toe. Bring your appetite; there will be lots of food and drinks including cotton candy, ice cream, cupcakes, lobster rolls, hot dogs, and hamburgers. Items for sale include gift baskets, the lap robes, plants, flowers, jams and various other specialties.

Special events will take place throughout the day. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to relax and enjoy the whole day.

Dover Parks & Recreation will be hosting the 2nd annual 5K Pumpkin Run for ages 8 yrs & up on the day of the fair! The Race begins at 11:00am in front of the American Legion and is 3.1miles long. There is a $15.00 registration fee. Please click here for more information.

If you are interested in reserving a booth for this years fair please mail a completed Registration Form to the Dover Parks & Recreation Office before September 1st, 2008. The cost is $25 per booth. Any registrations received after September 1st will have a $10 late fee added.
