• 5 Sundays (January 6, 13, 27 and February 3, 10), held at the Chickering School in Dover.

Boys and Girls from Age 3 yrs to age 15 can register for Spring Baseball online.

*Spring Softball ($150 for grades 3-8. $120 for ages 3yrs, 4yrs, Pre-K, K, & grades 1+2)
Girls from ages 3yrs to grade 8 can register for Spring Softball online.

*Summer Babe Ruth Baseball ($150 grades 7 - 9)
THE SUMMER BABE RUTH SEASON WILL BEGIN THE FIRST WEEK OF JUNE AND EXTENDS TO MID-JULY.

Levels of play:

Babe Ruth: players born 5/1/91-4/30/94 *regardless of Grade level, those born
during these dates MUST play Babe Ruth baseball.

Majors: players in grades 5 & 6 AND born 5/1/94 or later.

AAA: all players in Grade 4.

AA: all players in Grade 3.

A: all players in grade 2.

** ALL OF THE ABOVE LEVELS ARE MIXED DOVER AND SHERBORN **

Grade 1 Dover Baseball: all Dover players in Grade 1, Saturday mornings beginning April 26th, at Caryl Fields 9:00 - 10:30am.

Grade 1 Sherborn Baseball: all Sherborn players in Grade 1, Saturday afternoons at Jameson Fields1:00 - 3:30pm.

Ages 3yrs - grade K Dover Tee-ball: all Dover players ages 3 yrs - fall grade K. Tuesday afternoons: 3yrs 2:00 - 2:45, 4yrs 2:45 - 3:30, Pre-K 3:30 - 4:15, K 4:15 - 5:00 at Caryl Park next to the Tennis Courts

Ages 3yrs - grade K Dover Tee-ball: all Dover players ages 3 yrs - fall grade K. Tuesday afternoons: 3yrs 2:00 - 2:45, 4yrs 2:45 - 3:30, Pre-K 3:30 - 4:15, K 4:15 - 5:00 at Jameson Field

Divisions:
Grades 7 & 8: play any two weeknights, and can have games or practices on weekends.
Grades 5 & 6: play any two weeknights, and can have games or practices on weekends.
Grades 3 & 4: play any two weeknights, and can have games or practices on weekends.
Grade 2: Meets once a week, on Saturday mornings. Includes professional instruction.

Coaches meeting for A, AA, AAA and Majors coaches

On Wednesday, January 30th, from 8:00 - 9:00 pm at the Caryl School Librarythere will be a meeting for all Head Coaches and Assistant coaches in the A, AA, AAA and Major Legues of the D/S Youth Baseball program. The meeting will begin at 8:00, and take place in the Caryl School in Dover. We will meet in the 2nd floor library next to the Dover Park & Recreation office. We will be discussing rules for the upcoming season, laying out the programs expectations for the different levels of play, and registering coaches for the CORI background checks. This meeting is very important to the program and we need everyone interested in helping coach a team to attend. Last year we had to tell two parents that they were not allowed to help IN ANY WAY with their child's team because they did not get CORI forms in on time, and we don't want to see that repeated this year. Please remember that any adult who participates in a practice or a game, even if it's shagging balls during B.P. or keeping the scorebook in the dugout, is considered a coach in need of a CORI background check. So please come to the meeting, hear the rules, and get your CORI form in!
