The Fair has been an annual event for approximately thirty years and functions as a fundraiser for many Dover organizations. It’s a wonderful opportunity for Dover organizations to interact with the community. New this year, Dover Days Fair will be open to outside Arts & Crafts & Business Vendors. All outside vendors must be pre-approved by Dover Parks & Recreation to assure quality attractions and prevent competition among groups. Please complete and mail in a registration form to host a booth.
The Fair features rides, games and activities such as moonwalk, children’s activities, demonstrations, monkey walk, hayride, T-shirt coloring, dice game, duck pond, space shot, and Velcro tic-tack-toe. Bring your appetite; there will be lots of food and drinks including cotton candy, ice cream, cupcakes, lobster rolls, hot dogs, and hamburgers. Items for sale include gift baskets, the lap robes, plants, flowers, jams and various other specialties.
Special events will take place throughout the day. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to relax and enjoy the whole day.
If you are interested in reserving a booth for this years fair please mail a completed Registration Form to the Dover Parks & Recreation Office before August 24, 2014. The cost is $25 per booth ($35 if power is needed). Any registrations received after August 24th will have a $10 late fee added.
